The traditional solution of a Spirobound type of product may not be satisfactory due to its’ sharp edges and poor appearance. Self closing sleeve is the answer, it gives high abrasion resistance together with a professional finish, it also allows easy removal and replacement for maintenance.

Easy you laminate it to an adhesive layer, only in this case the adhesive had to allow adjustments to the piece and not delaminate under extreme conditions. We achieved this by using a combination of adhesives to either side of a substrate, creating a high tack on one side and a low tack on the other, simple when you know how.

Conform is a good solution and has the added benefit of being removable for maintenance, it’s unique construction allows it to be stretched over the component offering good electrical, thermal and chemical protection and has a continuous operating temperature of 180°C.
